Hi, I'm a senior in high school and I'm currently working on my portfolio for Ringling

As far as portfolio media goes, does my work have to be all traditional? Do they accept digital work (not 3D/animation)? I have some portraits I drew using my tablet and drawing software and I was wondering if Ringling accepts those, too.

If you haven't found anything that says "no digital in your portfolio" on the RCAD site, then you're probably fine. I had a couple digital bits in my portfolio. What they really want to see is variety in media (traditional and digital), and life drawing. A couple parts of your 'folio can be your own conceptual stuff, but the bulk of it should be observational drawing and figure.
